Super Sale on our Short Sleeve Nursing Tops
Filed under: Breastfeeding Tops; Tagged as: breastfeeding clothing, breastfeeding tops, nursing clothes, nursing clothing, nursing top, nursing topsNo CommentsWe have some seriously good nursing tops available to buy on our website, you should come check them out.
Also at the moment we are having a special on our short sleeve breastfeeding tops, so don;t miss a bargain because as much as we like a good sale they won’t be available at this price for much over a week. We’ve started off slow and have reduced a few and over the week will remove some from the sale and change them for others – well they do say a change is as good as a rest!
All our nursing tops work on the same principle of having 2 layers, the under layer having a double opening on either side ie left & right so you can just pull the top layer up and move the under layer across when you wanna feed your baby. So less tummy exposure!
Also a lot of ladies continue to wear their shirts after they stop feeding their babies, the top shirt really doens’t encounter too much stretch during the feeding process so doesn’t get stretched out of shape and the under layer has spandex in it so helps retain it;s shape. Some people snip the under layer out and wear just the top layer as a “normal” t-shirt after they have finishes with breastfeeding. So don’t look at the top as limited only to when you breastfeed , it;s a new addition toy our wardrobe which you can wear until you don;t want to!

Getting close to Christmas – nursing clothing for your special lady
Filed under: Breastfeeding Tops; Tagged as: breastfeeding clothing, breastfeeding tops, maternity present, nursing clothes, nursing clothing, nursing topsNo CommentsWhat a great idea why not buy your partner / friend a nursing top for christmas
OK so i would say that considering i run a breastfeeding clothing brand !But it would make a good surprise and it is practical and it is something for the lady herself and not the baby.
Being 6 months pregnant myself and it is approaching christmas my dad asked me what i would like for christmas in the way of a present- he suggested maybe baby clothes or a cot……. hmmm sorry i don;t sleep in a cot and baby clothes would def not fit me. Don;t know if i am on my own in this but people don;t offer to buy my husband baby things as his present for christmas……
I am truly not un grateful as i am 36 now and don;t really expect anything for christmas at all (well apart from my husband who would be in deep do do’s if he didn;t get me anyhting!) but baby things?
ALthough maternity clothes or nursing clothes are different as they are for me and would make me feel good and more comfortable.

A GROUP of women have been commended for completing a unique training course in how to help other mothers with breastfeeding.
The pilot scheme has been set up by health bosses as part of a drive to get parents to help each other with difficulties and problems with feeding, and to emphasise that “breast is best” for young babies’ diets.
According to NHS statistics, 43 per cent of mothers in west Essex breastfeed at six to eight weeks of their child’s birth, which is below the national average of 48 per cent.
The volunteers all took part in a 12-week course at the Abbeywood and Hazelwood Children’s Centres in Waltham Abbey, spending three hours a week learning how to become a “breastfeeding buddy” and how best to promote the practice in the local area.
Graduates of the course celebrated with a party earlier this week, featuring a cake in the shape of a pair of breasts supplied by Andersons bakery in Epping High Street.
Teresa Morgan, of NHS West Essex, which organised the course along with the children’s centres and the Breastfeeding Network group, congratulated the women for their hard work.
She added: “We hope this new initiative can go from strength to strength.”
Course trainer Jane Neesam said: “I hope more Waltham Abbey mothers will breastfeed with the support they need to maintain it for longer.
“It provides long lasting benefits for babies and mums themselves.”

nursing clothing for funky mums
Filed under: Breastfeeding Tops; Tagged as: breastfeeding tops, funky nursing clothing, nursing tops, trendy breastfeeding clothes, trendy nursing clothes, young nursing topsNo CommentsSeriously it’s hard trying to find funky breastfeeding clothing that you aren’t aware all the time the only reason you are wearing it is that it’s practical…would be nice to find nursing clothes that you actually like. Well hopefully Mama Feelsgood can help you there
At the moment we have concentrated on nursing T-shirts, we carry funky graphic print breastfeeding tees in both long and short sleeve versions and we also stock plain nursing T-shirts which are super versitile and can be thrown on with your funky pair of jeans and you’ll comfortable whilst retaining your own sense of style.
Here’s our short sleeve breastfeeding Owl T-shirt in black :
OK so you;re thinking what makes this shirt a nursing top? Yeah it looks so “normal” you can’t tell it actually has a functional aspect to it (thats one thing our ladies say to us all the time is that it just looks like a regular top and friends have been surprised when they see it has the capabilities to keep you covered whilst you nurse your child), the top is made so it has 2 layers. The top layer is just like a regular shirt and when you want to nurse you life the top layer up and this exposes the under layer which has a feeding opening to either side (so you can choose to feed either side) so the top covers your post baby tummy whilst the top layer can help cover your chest and give your baby something to snuggle into. Also because the tops are 95% cotton it enables and extra spills on the underlayer to soak in and help prevent big milk marks all over your shirt!
Treat yourself to something nice, having a baby is SO exciting but sometimes mum is forgotten and you shouldn;t be!

This nursing top comes in Dark grey and Pink in the long sleeve version , we also carry it in our website in a short sleeve nursing top too , available inDark Grey and Pink
This design for our nursing shirt came about due to the loss of a very good friend of mine- don;t want to depress anyone but Kerri YOu’ll always be remembered and never forgotten. Sometimes it’s really nice to look back and remember the good and mega fun times you’ve had the privelidge to experience with someone, and the same goes for when you’re baby is still a baby. They are such precious times that you won’t ever get back so make the most of them while you have it! Blimey i sound sad today ha ha
So the whole vibe and aim of the Music Sounds Better with You breastfeeding tee is to make you feel happy, and chirpy and basically be glad to be here!!!

Nicole Kidman’s view on breastfeeding
Filed under: Celebrity breastfeeding; Tagged as: hollywood breastfeeding, nicole kidman breastfeeding, nursing clothing, nursing topsNo CommentsNice to know Hollywood stars are “Normal” in some ways too…well apart from being uber rich ha ha.
Nicole Kidman has done an article for a magazine in the states about her pregnancy and breastfeeding , take a look:
Nicole Kidman has always been tall with a svelte figure so she became pregnant with her daughter Sunday Rose, she grew in more ways than one.
In the issue of Ladies Home Journal, Nicole talks about how pregnancy made her breasts “normal size,” being in love and how her career is taking a backseat to family life.
Here are some highlights from the interview:
Nicole on breastfeeding: “They’re not very big, my boobs, so they just became normal size. I loved it! I felt very Woman. When you’ve had a slightly androgynous body your whole life, having breasts is a nice feeling.”
Nicole on being a private person: “I would never write a memoir. There are things that happen behind closed doors, and that’s where they belong. I’m not secretive. I’m protective.”
Nicole on being in love: “I love being in love. I believe in the power of love, the way it can heal. The more you keep choosing it—because there are times when you can choose to be angry at the person or to love him—the more it nourishes a family.”
Nicole on her career taking a backseat: “There are certain limitations to my career because I’m based here. And that’s cool. Keith has enormous ambitions, which I support. His tours and albums are much bigger than what I’m doing right now.”
Nicole on refusing to sing in front of her husband: Most mornings Urban plays the piano for her and Sunday. “I hum a little. When your husband’s a huge singer, the last thing you do is sing with him.”
Nicole on her outlook for the future: “Sunday’s third word was ‘wow,’ and I say that word a lot. I hope when I’m 80 I’ll still be saying it. I’ve been given extraordinary opportunities, with huge dreams fulfilled. I’m 42 and my eyes ar

The breastfeeding Feedgood factor
Filed under: breastfeeding help; Tagged as: breastfeeding helpline, feed good factor, national breastfeeding help, nursing clothing, nursing topsNo CommentsWe came across this breastfeeding advice site, aimed at people in Scotland but alot of the information is general about breastfeeding and as it has such a funky name : Breastfeeding The Feedgood factor we thought you might like to check it out.
The website runs through the benefits of breastfeeding your baby, along with how you can help support breastfeeding ie as a friend or husband / relative etc. Also there are some personal stories on there from varing points of view ie mums, dads etc. Also the national breastfeeding helpline number is on there 0300 100 0212 (not sure if this is just for Scotland or a UK one ?) so if you have ANY questions about breastfeeding then give them a ring and they are the experts to help you out. I think with breastfeeding it is a skill that both you and your baby have to learn and along with the the other factors involved in having and raising a baby it’s not easy, and sometimes you might feel you have to give up breastfeeding when you don;t really want to , especially if there is no one you can talk to about things. So the telephone helpline can be a really useful thing, i’m sure they have heard every question you could possible think of to do with breastfeeding and being at the end of the phone is sometimes better then being in person, gives you a bit more ammoninity (spelling?)
Take care guys, Liz

Metropolis nursing tops totally out of this world!
Filed under: Breastfeeding Tops; Tagged as: breastfeeding clothing, breastfeeding tops, nursing clothes, nursing topsNo CommentsIntroducing our wicked Metropolis nursing tops , something totally unusual and funky to spice up your breastfeeding wardrobe.
This breastfeeding top comes in both dark and light grey in long sleeves and also available in Dark Grey short sleeve nursing top.
Like our Ray gun nursing tops (which by the way are on special this week) the Metropolis nursing top is kinda retro comic book style. I totally love this breastfeeding shirt as it kinda shows women are strong and we might not be physically the strongest but emotionally and with everything we go through (hey being pregnant and giving birth is not an easy task) shows we are strong and can do anything we out our minds to…..well within reason, we can’t grow beards or pee standing up but you get my drift!! ha ha.
Mama FeelsGood is my baby and i really do love my nursing shirts, i was talking to a lovely customer yesterday and i think ended up giving her nearly my life story (truly i am sorry ha ha) and it hit me even more how much i totally adore just giving new mums something different to wear and providing you guys with a choice. I know everyone has different taste in clothes etc but it’s so nice to know some ladies really love and appreciate what i’, trying to do here, and it;s so cool when people just “get ” you
Make sure you have a good Friday the 13th
Liz.
