So October has been and gone and it’s been a crazy month here are Mama FeelsGood ; we are still trying to get our new website up and going , it will function much better than our current one for example you will be able to view more shots of our nursing shirts and be able to zoom in so i know a lot of you wanted this so you could see the graphic prints a lot better. We will be bale to accept Paypal which i good because so many people use it now and we will have different shipping rates so it gives you more choice over how you want to receive your goods.

Thing is it takes forever and with getting our new range of breastfeeding tops photographed and edited and then loaded onto the old site ie this one takes much longer than you think. So hopefully this time next week the new site should be up, although i did say that last week :(

Another fabulous thing which totally rocked my world, we were picked up by Pregnancy & Birth magazine as the pick of the web for November and were featured in their magazine (page 20 ladies). So good times !

Oh no have your seen the weather here in Bristol? It is terrible and not just a little bit gloomy, full on storm is here; sad times as i don;t think it’s going to get any better and we have our photo shoot happening tomorrow !

Talk about couldn’t pick a worse day if i tried! Any ways the general idea was it was going to be an outside job but don;t think Jess & the clothes would look that good soaking wet so going to have to re think things.

Laura our photographer is a really inspiration so wherever we end up taking them i’m sure they will rock out.

Now i just have to get all the things together, there is always far more than you possibly think you will need. I better get on the case, i get distracted very easily plus it;s my mums birthday today too plus Erin is crawling with a purpose so gotta have eyes in the back of my head.

Will post some pictures tomorrow night hopefully of our nursing dresses , keep your fingers crossed for us xx

It’s taken SO long but finally the new breastfeeding dresses and nursing tops are here and the photo shoot for them is going to be on saturday.

It’s really nice being able to think of things to so for the photoshoot, Jess my friend who is one of our models is so much fun, she won’t mind me saying she is one crazy lady ( in a good way Jess in a good way!) and has always loads of blinkin mad poses ready to break out! We are planning something a little special this time around, can’t say too much as am leaving it as a surprise but if things work out OK it should be badass!!!

SO just getting some accessories together for saturday, it’s a bit like America’s top model , loads more difficult than you might think to get the right shots. Laura our photographer is really cool at thinking up good angles and lighting etc so it’s pretty cool doing a shoot. Think lots of tea needed on this one though as it,s freezing here in Bristol, fingers crossed it;s not raining.

Speaking of Bristol, we took some of our breast feeding T-shirts down to the Love Baby Show held at the paintworks in Brislington. Has a great day, met loads of lovely people. Received some really lovely comments on our nursing clothes , felt a lot of love for our new nursing dress and breastfeeding top so it was a good day :)

Thanks to my good pal Louise for coming to help me out too, big hugs xx.

I am SO chuffed to say that we are featuring in this months GreenParent Magazine.

Mama Feelsgood Breastfeeding Tops in Green PArent Magazine

It was a really nice article we were featured in basically showing that there are quite a few options open if you want to breastfeed in public without flashing your wongers or baby belly at everyone!

Everyone is different and some women are more comfortable at feeding in public, and it is something that take s a bit of getting use to. But hey you shouldn;t ever feel that you can’t go out when you are breastfeeding , Ok i know in the beginning if you are anything like me it took me ages just to get myself and my girls up and dressed to go out and when i did they would fill their nappy and i would have to start all over again! But it’s really cool to get your butt out of the house and enjoy some outdoors time with your baby. With Amelia i think Starbucks was my first destination, so nice just to try and chill out (OK maybe chilling out is an over estimation because i was a little highly strung at first about her screaming the place down, which she didn’t!) . So where was the first place you went out solo with your new little baby?

So what methods do you use to make breastfeeding in public that bit easier for you? I’ll be honest and say the whole idea of using a cover wasn’t for me, Erin i know would just pull at it like and probably pull it up but i haven’t ever used one so i might have gotten it totally wrong. How have you guys gotten on with them?

I also heard that baby slings are good at covering your bits when breastfeeding plus it takes some of the strain off of your back and arms because you can let the sling do some of the supporting. ?

Anyways take a good read of our article and let me know what you think; Green PArent magazine is SO cool for ideas and tips for parents so it;s SO luch to be featured in it. I have bought the magazine and am going to laminate the page this afternoon!! I know i am a sad case!!

    Happy weekend guys, Liz

Ok ladies (and guys buying the lady of your life presents) the last day that we are going to post so it should reach you in time for christmas in the UK is this Thursday the 17th December. We send everything first class but at this time of the year we are mega busy and also the strain on Royal Mail is huge, so we are putting a deadline of the Thursday as our last posting day to get before christmas.

We will of course be posting things next week but they just won;t get to you in time for the big day.

We are taking christmas off here at MFG so our website will be open for orders all over the christmas and new year but we won;t be processing any and sending them until the monday after boxing day so we are actually getting a few days off!

Hi guys just a heads up on our Sale breastfeeding shirts and what is and isn’t in stock .

Our long sleeve pink RAy Gun nursing T-shirts are now sold out; bit sad in a way because they were one of my favourites. They will not be re-printed either so they will not be available in pink again. We are going to introducing some new nursing T-shirts graphic prints in the new year so we have to make some room in our offices for them! So our other Ray nurisng tops are currently on sale on our website.

Ray Gun short sleeve breastfeeding T-shirt

The nursing tee is so hot someone get it into the shade. With a little 1950′s retro comic book style this graphic print toally rocks this breastfeeding shirt.

Hey you don’t have to look bad while you breastfeed, it’s official we make mama’s feel good.

The same applies to all our breastfeeding tees.

    • 100% quality jersey cotton top shirt
    • 95% cotton 5% spandex undershirt
    • Designed to fit AFTER pregnancy
    • machine washable
    • size’s 8 – 18 available
    • All our breastfeeding tees work on the same nursing design:

It is 2 shirts in 1. The top t-shirt is just like a regular tee, and below is a hidden under vest with nursing openings on both sides. When you want to feed your baby you simply lift the top tee and move the undervest slightly to use the nursing openings. Keeps your tummy covered and helps hide you chest!

OMG what’s going on it is SO cold and here in Bristol it’s not even snowing….yet!

I gotta say we have been selling lots of our long sleeve breastfeeding tops, think it is a mixture of the cold weather and people wanting them for christmas presents (of course along with the fact that they are gorgeous nursing tops!) . Lots of our sale shirts are selling out, and there are only very few of certain nursing shirts left in our sale section. We only have a few sizes left of our Neptune Surf short sleeve nursing T-shirt

    Neptune Surf breastfeeding top

Also we have had lots of enquiries about of long sleeve Owl nursing T-shirt. We have basically sold out of these in the smaller sizes and we did take them all off our website because we were going to get them re-printed but with the christmas rush and hence super busy times we haven’t gotten around to it so we have put them back on the website but we only have them in sizes L, XL, XXL and there are very few larges left!

    Owl Nursing Tops

So if there is a nursing shirt that you really want don;t wait go for it because we can’t promise it will be around for long!

As we are in the process of moving into our new office it has uncovered lots of nursing shirts i didn’t know i had! Either faulty ones, customers returns which are no longer fit for resale (boo hoo) , ones which have just gotten dirty along the way in transit i’m sure you get the picture! So rather than just chucking these away we thought it would be nice to give them away to people who will make some use of them.

Some of the breastfeeding tops have holes or tares in them from being faulty in manufacture and they are in the underlayers so not always visable and might be good for just wearing around the house, so they still keep you warm . Of course some of the tops with marks on them can just be washed and they might be OK, it;s that i cannot sell tops that have been laundered so they are no good to me.

So to catch these little gems you have to check out and be a fan of our facebook page. There is no regularity to when we post them, just random when we find them really, so you have to keep you eyes peeled!

It’s been a crazy week for us, i’ve had the Flu from hell which just won’t shift so it’s made things really hard for me as we have totally moved into our new offices this week so i was really feeble and couldn’t do any of the lifting ( which some people might say was a blessing!). So Matt my husband and 2 of his friends moved all our nursing shirts today. I thought it was gojng to take ages as there are a lot of boxes but i gotta say the chaps are fit and it didn’t take too long.

So now we are geared up to take delivery of our new breastfeeding dresses that will be delivered in a few months. They are being made at the moment, we had our final samples through of our new nursing tops too as well as the nursing dress and they are REALLY lush. nice heavy fabric that will keep you warm enough in the winter when paired with a thick cozy pair of tights and not too clammy for the summer. I will try and arrange the photo shoot for January so should be on sale not too long after. Very exciting as it’s out first ever breastfeeding dress, and it;s taken SO much longer than i had expected. I wasn’t happy with some of the features of the dress so they had to be changed and then this had a big knock on effect to production time as i missed my slot of manufacture so had to re-book.; But it does mean that they will be the way i want them.

2011 we hope will be a big year for us as we want to expand the range of nursing clothing and offer you guys more variation.

Right gotta zoom lots of orders to pack- happy days :)
