Ok so it might be a few months off but we are getting tres excited about our new range of graphic breastfeeding tops. There will be an extension to our current styles could be 4 more could be 8 hee hee we won’t say at the moment but they are going to be good.
We’re broadening our range of breastfeeding tops so can offer more choice in funky clothes for new mums. Thanks for all your comments on our first collection of nursing T-shirts, it has been really great to get letters and emails with positive comments and suggestions on how we can extend our range.
We really do wanna make Mama’s Feel Good, and their are big changes behind the scenes here in order to make this happen. We all work super hard here and we always want to deliver 100% to all our customers so things are chaning so whe can achieve this. some of our current graphic breastfeeding tops have been alot more popular than we thought, hence have gone for re-printing a few times causing delays, well this situation along with the influx of our new nursing tees is going to resolve this problem. So we promise that there will be more sizes and colours available for purchase at all times.
To all our customers thanks for being so cool, and big thanks for supporting us.
Take care, Liz.

Wow Just Did Our First Ever Show
Filed under: Breastfeeding Tops; Tagged as: breastfeeding show, breastfeeding tops, maternity show, maternity t-shirt, maternitytops, nursing t-shirtNo CommentsJust revovering from doing our first show at the local baby and toddlers show in Bristol. It was really cool to meet so many lovely women, don’t know if being pregnant or just had a baby does something to you because everyone was so nice.
Was really nice to see some of our tops on people! That might sound strange but we see so many tees packed and ready to go and not alot actually on people (apart from ourselves and my sister of course!) so it was like, “wow that Lips Nursing T-shirt looks amazing on” honestly it was cool.
We were advised by another company that we should take our Maternity and breastfeeding T-shirts to excel or a big london show, but man it was hard work just doing a local show! I was up a 4am with my mind wizzing over and we were setting our stall up at 8 so it’s really tiring. But hey it was worth it. When we do another one we’ll let you know!

Sisters are the best
Filed under: Behind Mamafeelsgood.com; Tagged as: breastfeeding t-shirt, maternity t-shirt, melons maternity, nursing t-shirt, nursing teesNo CommentsMy sister Sue came around today to have a practice with her new camera she got for christmas, she did A level photography way back when and hasn’t used a camera for a while so i said she could do some T-shirt pics to get going.
We had a really cool time, lots of photos taken (i will up date some more on here during the week) it turned out my daughter is a natural in front of the camera and loved modeling, shame the same couldn’t b said for me……..
I can’t help it i just don,t like my photo being taken, the more i tried not to look posey the worse it got. So when we looked back over the photos at the end of the day it was a real laugh (honestly some are soo bad i can’t post on here, i am so pale in some it looks like i’ve never seen daylight and others well lets just say not good……….).
This was one fo the funny ones, Sue snapped it just as i was putting on a mama’s melons maternity tee and i look like i got a turtles head (not the out the butt type ha ha). Thanks sue ha ha

OK i received an email asking what exactly is a breastfeeding top?
Basically it is a top which allows you to feed your child without getting your tummy exposed or showing what nature blessed you with in the boobie department!
There are lots of different openings you can have in a nursing top in order to do this, and personally i think some designs are better than others. There use to be tops with zips and poppers (not too sure if they are still around? ) but the thought of zips near A – my baby’s face and B – my boobies no thanks.
We have designed our nursing shirts so they have a double layer. So the top shirt looks just like a regular tee, infact it is a regualr tee but underneath is a vest style shirt which has 2 openings either side of the arm hole.
SO How do you use the nursing top?
When you wanna feed your child you pull up the top tee to get to the undervest, your tummy will be covered by the under vest so no flesh on show there! Just deceided which side you want to feed from then undo your nursing bra / regular bra and pull the undervest to 1 side and away you go.
The nursing tops gives you alot more coverage and privacy, and lets face it after you had a baby your tummy isn’t what it use to be so it’s nice not having to get it out whilst you breastfeed!
The best thing about our breastfeeding tees is that you can wear them after you stop breastfeeding. They don’t look like “nursing tops” , no one would guess they are one.
One of our customers didn’t wanna wear the undervest after she stopped nursing but loved the Tee so she cut the under vest out and now just wears the top shirt, hey if it works for you then it’s cool..

Lets face it if you buy an evening wear maternity top / dress when are you going to wear it? If you are planning to have a big family then maybe invest in 1 but me personally i find them abit of a rip just for maybe 1 wear. Ok so you wanna look good at the christmas party but if you spend £40 – 50 on a top or dress how likely are you going to wear it again ? When you’ve had your baby you won’t really want to go back to wearing your maternity clothes, so in reality you will only wear it a few times which is a shame.
Now there is a solution, buy a maternity belly band . They are very reasonably priced and can cover your bump so you could wear a “normal” evening top and have no bump on show.

Now these bands are just for covering your bump, they don’t provide any back support (although they do make you feel more secure i think) so if you are buying one and expecting them to help your bad back then don’t because they won’t !! But they will extend the life of your pre pregnancy wardrobe. So don’t pay a fortune for clothes that you will only wear like once!
That is the beauty about our maternity & breastfeeding tees, you can get alot of wear out of them and they don’t cost the earth in the first place. I wear our nursing t-shirt and i haven’t breastfeed for over 3 years!! It looks completely “normal” and the designs are well funky and don’t refer to maternity or breastfeeding in any way so you won’t look an idiot wearing them years later!!

Tonight is the Start up Live Business event held in Bristol and i am going to it , should be cool. I have been to a previous one and it was really good, quite helpfull really and considering it is free i thought it was very well put together.
The speakers tonight are :

Keynote: Nick Baker
Managing Director, Sharps Brewery
Hear how Nick purchased Sharps Brewery in 2003 , a small micro brewery in Rock, Cornwall. The result has been a transformation of the business, with its principle brand Doombar becoming one of the fastest growing beer brands in the U.K Lets hope he has brought some free samples with him ha ha.
There is always a fabulous free raffle at the end too which is quite a generous one, so will out my name in that for sure. I get a little bit uneasy at some of these events as some people really like to show off and boast alot about their business, and really i think the clue is in the events name Start-ups, if you are a massive company there really is no need to go, i love Mama Feelsgood but to boast about it really isn’t me…..well sometimes ha ha.
If i spot a pregnant lady i will have to grab her and have a chat!!
