Introducing our wicked Metropolis nursing tops , something totally unusual and funky to spice up your breastfeeding wardrobe.

Like our Ray gun nursing tops (which by the way are on special this week) the Metropolis nursing top is kinda retro comic book style. I totally love this breastfeeding shirt as it kinda shows women are strong and we might not be physically the strongest but emotionally and with everything we go through (hey being pregnant and giving birth is not an easy task) shows we are strong and can do anything we out our minds to…..well within reason, we can’t grow beards or pee standing up but you get my drift!! ha ha.

Mama FeelsGood is my baby and i really do love my nursing shirts, i was talking to a lovely customer yesterday and i think ended up giving her nearly my life story (truly i am sorry ha ha) and it hit me even more how much i totally adore just giving new mums something different to wear and providing you guys with a choice. I know everyone has different taste in clothes etc but it’s so nice to know some ladies really love and appreciate what i’, trying to do here, and it;s so cool when people just “get ” you

Ok perhaps my rhyming isn’t very good ha ha.

In the spirt if autumn and things turning a bit colder now (although i have to say for November things really aren’t that cold at all) though it would introduce our Owl breastfeeding T-shirt .

we’ve changed the design up a little from our previous printing of this nursing shirt and inversed the printing of it. We think it totally rocks, we think the print makes it clearer to see the little skulls on the design. We’ve had loads of comments about this nursing shirt and people really get good comments from friends etc when they wear it which it totally cool.

It is 2 shirts in 1. The top t-shirt is just like a regular tee, and below is a hidden under vest with nursing openings on both sides. When you want to feed your baby you simply lift the top tee and move the undervest slightly to use the nursing openings. Keeps your tummy covered and helps hide you chest! I love halloween so much and it makes it even better when you have children to share it with. I’m going out to get my pumpkins this afternoon and and gonna take great joy in carving them, although what i’m gonna do with the inside is another thing. My imagination is pretty poor when it comes to cooking, so maybe the birds in my area are gonna have a little treat ha ha.

New nursing tops hitting the site tomorrow

Yeah at last our new collection of graphic tee nursing tops are hitting the website tomorrow .

There are a sprinkle of both Short sleeve nursing tops and long sleeve nursing tops .

Just seeing them on Jess & Sheri when they modeled them was so cool, it’s not very often i get to see the breastfeeding shirts on people, as it’s an on-line store it can get a bit lonely …sob sob. Ha ha .

The photo shoot was really good to do, i thought we should change things up a bit from our previous photos of our nursing shirts so all the pictures were shot outside..hey on location!!! That sounds so posh but believe me it really wasn’t ha ha.

Both Sheri and Jess our models were brilliant as always, able to strike a pose on the most awkward of places whilst still looking cool. Also Laura our resident photographer was brilliant (as she consistently is ) and not only took some amazing shots but her imagination and ideas were fantastic for angles and poses etc.

As we speak the final photographs are being choosen (there were 34 nursing tops in all photographed and over 1000 pictures taken!) and by late tomorrow night all the new breastfeeding shirts will be available for purchase on-line.

Breastfeeding tops which offer you something different

Mama Feelsgood nursing tops offer breastfeeding ladies funky, original nursing tops which are super functional, descrete and are really good quality at affordable prices.

Hey we are NOT saying you have to have one of our nursing shirts to breastfeed your baby, but like a lot of things in life they make life so much easier. Going out in public can be a real confidence issue with some ladies when they know that their baby is going to need a feed whilst out. Hey when i had my daughter i kept making feeble excuses as to why i couldn’t pop out to the mall with my friends for a cuppa tea , reality was i didn’t want to have to face the issue of getting my boobies out in public let alone my gigantic jelly belly (and i’m not a size 8 pretending to know how bigger women feel i am a good size 18!) stretch marks and all; when the real issue was i was uncomfortable with feeding in public. A lot of women are, and i truly wished i wasn’t , it’s one of the most natural things in the world, but i couldn’t help the way i feel. Now i am 14 weeks pregnant with my second baby and i really do feel like things have changed. Lets face it i have a big wardrobe of nursing shirts to choose from! And they will help me to gain confidence and nbot be a hermit!!

OK so some people have asked who would want to wear their breastfeeding shirts after they stopped feeding?

Our shirts we like to think are really something different, for a start they don’t look like regular nursing shirts, they aren’t frumpy, and they offer originality and are really well made, so it’s not like you want to get out of them as fast as you can, we’d like to think you actually like them! A lot of our customers cut the inside nursing layer out and then wear then as regular shirts, whilst some like the fact that the inner layer kinda holds you in a little. Breastfeeding isn’t for everyone, so if you want to try if for a few months/ weeks/ days and find you don’t get on with it etc then you can still wear your shirt, it’s not like it’s so obvious it’s for breastfeeding that you couldn’t wear it when you weren’t!

Up dating nursing tops stock levels as we speak

Hurrah had the big delivery i was waiting for yesterday of our nursing tops and even as we speak i am updating the stock levels of breastfeeding tops our site.

It’s been a crazy couple of days for us, we,ve brought in some new colour comblinations and tweeked a few of our graphic prints on the nursing tops so things are gradually changing. As with a lot of things everything takes so long!

We have some cracking new graphic prints ready to go but as yet no pictures! trying arrange a photo shoot when everyone can attend is truly an logistics nightmare, but as any women knows multi tasking is nothing new to us!

So i am debating on whether to put some mock ups on the site until i have the shoot pictures, just so it gives you guys a chance to but and not have to wait?? What do you think?

Our missing breastfeeding tops…….

Well this week has been an experience!

Met a super lovely lady who saw my little article in Bristol Evening post a few weeks back (i’ll will have to scan it in and show you guys) she literally lives up the road from me and was in need of some breastfeeding shirts so popped down, had a chat and was able to try some shirts on to see how the fit was. Also had some really fabulous emails from ladies who love our shirts, and just wanted to pass on their regards, those kinda emails are always really cool to get and really does bring the feel good factor:)

On the downside our shirts are taking forever to be delivered to us…… it’s the biggest order we have ever had and it includes our new graphic print nursing tops plus all the sizes in the shirts we already stock. If i said we are desperate for this order i would be under estimating it! I am so dissapointed it’s unreal, it has just been a combination of mistakes and problems along the way which has resulted in our shirts being 6 weeks late to get to us…. and hence to you guys. So to all the ladies who have enquired when we will have shirts in all the sizes they won’t be long now (fingers crossed) and we are really sorry for the delay.

We are well excited here at Feelsgood towers, our new shirts should be with us within the next week (everything takes So long!), so we will have plenty of stock in all designs which is good news because we are so sorry about you having to wait for shirts.

We’ve been trying to make our stocks of nursing tops hang out for the last couple of weeks but they just haven’t made it, which is good for us because they are selling but it sucks for you guys who need them now!! Yeah we know what it’s like when you are pregnant or breastfeeding and sometimes there just is no time to wait for things!!

So here is a little sneeky peak of one of our new graphic print nursing tops. We haven’t had our photo shoot yet so this is just a mock picture but hey it totally rocks.

This is called Rock Mama and will be available on dark grey short sleeve and black long sleeve. It reminds me of a Guns n roses style shirt. Hey rock out trendy mama ha ha!!

As soon as they arrive and we have done the photoshoot they will be on the site. I wasn’t sure about taking pre orders for the shirt ( we have had a lot of enquiries) just because it can get quite confusing when there are a lot of different orders to remember. Summer nursing tops

ok so there really hasn’t been too much summer this year has there really, (although when i went out to the park yesterday i did get burnt, absolutely stupid of me not to have put cream on ! now i have shoulders the colour of the inside of water melons) !!

So just in case you were after some funky nursing shirts to chill out in the heat ( or not heat!) we have some lush ones. Even better they are all year round shirts really because in the winter you can just pop a cardigan over the top.

Our Nursing Tops Are Great for soaking up spills too !!

Had to smile today, had a really cool email from one of my customers (Lily) who let me know how handy our breastfeeding tee’s are for soaking up little spills which can (and usually alot) during breastfeeding.

Because our breastfeeding tops are 100% cotton they are great for absorbing the milk and don’t spread and leave gigantic wet rings !. Thats the benefit of cotton nursing tops, if it were viscose or polyester the drip would have become the size of your fist ha ha brings back memories of going out without wearing breast pads one day and it looked like i had been swimming !!

Thanks Lily for that insight, good to know our nursing tees have many purposes
