Ok so i was really sad to see the shut down of Woolworths this month. My nan use to buy loads of things from there when she was alive and when my parents were younger it was THE place people bought the majority of their things especially at christmas.

So it got me to thinking, business’s can be crazy things sometimes; seems to me you pay a fortune to advertise which in turn raises the cost of your stock (because you have to pay for this advertising ) and the whole thing is a viscious circle. We make no secret of the fact that this is Mama Feelsgood first year of trading, and we’ve worked really hard to get this far. Everything has seemed like a struggle but we are so proud of our product and service and thats something that won’t change. SO :

We thought we would do away with paying for expensive advertising and run on our word of mouth , this way we can keep the price of our shirts down and keep the fabulous quality, so remember if you like us tell people about us !!! The more word of mouth business the longer the nursing & maternity shirts can be kept cheaper.

Right i am so behind it is unreal, i was supposed to send some shirts for the breastfeeding and maternity fashion show thats happening in Leeds next saturday (check out breast buddies website for more info ) and i am so slack.  I have the shirts ready to go and i must remember to post them tomorrow. nice little surprise as i thought i would experiment and get some different coloured breastfeeding tees printed up with the 8 Ball design. So there is a Pink tee and dark Grey tee (both new colours for Mama Feelsgood) and they have the white 8ball design on them., Sorry dudes i don;t have any pictures yet.

So really the lucky ladies of Leeds are going to get the first look at some new shirts…… It’s so cool choosing which designs go on which tees, i totally love it. I wore the black 8Ball breastfeeding tee on Thursday and i got so many compliments i was well chuffed. One friend said “i thought you were gonna wear one of your nursing tees in today” and i was like, yeah i have…… they couldn’t even tell it was a breastfeeding t-shirt so there you go, you can wear them even when you stop feeding your little one.

Mama Feelsgood - Home of Funky maternity wear

Hey guys our breastfeeding tops must be good we,ve spotted another of customers wearing one and yet again it was in the new Cabot circus shopping centre in Bristol. It was one of our Island breastfeeding tops , we were so chuffed to see soemone wearing one of our designs. Honestly it’s taken so long to get our Breastfeeding tops and maternity tops  together, not only the manufacture and designing of them, but the screen printing process of all the breastfeeding tops and maternity tops are done within the UK, and it takes forever getting designs together that we like and think you will like too.

Honestly we would love to hear from anyone who wears either our nursing tops or maternity tops, send a photo, or email, that would to totally cool.

We admit we are kinda slow to make our Flickr account, but we finally did it and made our Mama Feelsgod account there. So if anyone wants to come on over and view a few of our photos, there will be some out takes on there from our 1st maternity and breastfeeding T-shirt photo shoot which are quite funny. We did the shoot in the summer and a few of my freinds (who are the models in my shoots) got attacked  a mega angry wasp, it was on a mission to get someone that day; so there are photos of people freakin out big time  ha ha ha. Don’t know why i’m laughing i am alergic to wasps !!

Seriously how lush are these nursing bras…. They are by a young new company called Hot Milk.

I was googling nursing bras just to see what was available now and this company just jumped out at me. What a wicked name for a start, and their nursing and maternity underwear is well foxy. Really goes with our ethos here are Mama Feelsgood that you’re gorgeous, full stop.

It’s fantastic to see another company which thinks you can be pregnant /  breastfeeding and still hold on to a little piece of yourself and don’t loose your sense of style or originality. Hot Milk are based in New Zealand but their range of maternity & nursing underwear are available in the UK .
