I love halloween so much and it makes it even better when you have children to share it with. I’m going out to get my pumpkins this afternoon and and gonna take great joy in carving them, although what i’m gonna do with the inside is another thing. My imagination is pretty poor when it comes to cooking, so maybe the birds in my area are gonna have a little treat ha ha.

Blimey it’s getting colder every morning, so you might well be looking in your wardrobes and dragging out your old winter clothes from last year (probably your old pre-pregnancy clothes).

Think they could do with a little spicing up? Do they look bored and tired? Ha ha i’m sounding like one of those adverts for Cillit Bang or CAlgon or something ha ha.

Well what i am getting at is we have just got in store our new collection of graphic print nursing tees in, and yes there are some long sleeve nursing shirts in there  

So no more cold backs or tummys when you breastfeed, because our funky designed double layer breastfeeding tops keep you covered, all you do is life the top layer up and then whichever side you want to breastfeed from you pull the under layer to one side , pop out your boobie and away you go.

It’s going to be such a blast , it’s our photoshoot for our new nursing tops on monday. Please let it be dry as i really wanna get some shots outside, although the weather here in Bristol at the moment has been completely different everyday so far! Sheri and jess are our models again and it’s so much fun, i’ve learnt the art of chilling out a bit now, our first ever photoshoot we did i was so up tight and moody ha ha. You watch Americas next top model and think it looks easy but i can tell you it really isn’t!! To be a good model you’ve just got to enjoy what you do and have the patience of a saint!

Of course it totally helps that Laura our photographer is a total dream to work with, she has SUCH a good imagination , some of the poses she think up are wicked.

Because i myself an pregnant with my 2nd child hopefully next year when it’s born (i don’t know the sex yet so have to still call it an it!) there should be some better “action shots” of how our breastfeeding tops work. I know sometimes it kinda difficult to get your head around how our nursing tops actually work so this should help alot.

Hey we are NOT saying you have to have one of our nursing shirts to breastfeed your baby, but like a lot of things in life they make life so much easier. Going out in public can be a real confidence issue with some ladies when they know that their baby is going to need a feed whilst out. Hey when i had my daughter i kept making feeble excuses as to why i couldn’t pop out to the mall with my friends for a cuppa tea , reality was i didn’t want to have to face the issue of getting my boobies out in public let alone my gigantic jelly belly (and i’m not a size 8 pretending to know how bigger women feel i am a good size 18!) stretch marks and all; when the real issue was i was uncomfortable with feeding in public. A lot of women are, and i truly wished i wasn’t , it’s one of the most natural things in the world, but i couldn’t help the way i feel. Now i am 14 weeks pregnant with my second baby and i really do feel like things have changed. Lets face it i have a big wardrobe of nursing shirts to choose from! And they will help me to gain confidence and nbot be a hermit!!

OK so some people have asked who would want to wear their breastfeeding shirts after they stopped feeding? 

Our shirts we like to think are really something different, for a start they don’t look like regular nursing shirts, they aren’t frumpy, and they offer originality and are really well made, so it’s not like you want to get out of them as fast as you can, we’d like to think you actually like them! A lot of our customers cut the inside nursing layer out and then wear then as regular shirts, whilst some like the fact that the inner layer kinda holds you in a little. Breastfeeding isn’t for everyone, so if you want to try if for a few months/ weeks/ days and find you don’t get on with it etc then you can still wear your shirt, it’s not like it’s so obvious it’s for breastfeeding that you couldn’t wear it when you weren’t!

Remember when you buy one of our breastfeeding tees you can continue to wear it after you stop breastfeeding. I just read an on-line article where a woman really slated breastfeeding tops saying you don’t really need one blah blah blah, well you don’t need chocolate but it’s bloomin lush & makes you feelgood and that is just like our nursing tees. We’re not trying to fool anyone by saying you can’t breastfeed without buying one of our shirts, of course you can, but one of the big benefits of our breastfeeding tops is they don’t look like the old fashioned kinda nursing tops.

We would like to think that even if you weren’t nursing your little one you would wanna wear our shirts. They have super funky , cool prints, and the nursing design is on an under layer which you can’t see from looking at the shirt (ie they are 2 shirts in 1, “normal” tee ontop, vest like underlayer underneath).

So don;t think of the shirt as having a limited life span in your wardrobe, it hasn’t , you can wear it for as long as you like. That is the unique things about our tees, they look realy cool and “normal”.
