Breastfeeding Shirts & Maternity Tops At Reasonable Prices
Filed under: Mama Feelsgood website; Tagged as: breastfeeding t-shirts, funky breastfeeding, funky maternity, Mama feelsgood, maternity shirts, Maternity T-shirts, nursing T-shirtsNo CommentsOk so i was really sad to see the shut down of Woolworths this month. My nan use to buy loads of things from there when she was alive and when my parents were younger it was THE place people bought the majority of their things especially at christmas.
So it got me to thinking, business’s can be crazy things sometimes; seems to me you pay a fortune to advertise which in turn raises the cost of your stock (because you have to pay for this advertising ) and the whole thing is a viscious circle. We make no secret of the fact that this is Mama Feelsgood first year of trading, and we’ve worked really hard to get this far. Everything has seemed like a struggle but we are so proud of our product and service and thats something that won’t change. SO :
We thought we would do away with paying for expensive advertising and run on our word of mouth , this way we can keep the price of our shirts down and keep the fabulous quality, so remember if you like us tell people about us !!! The more word of mouth business the longer the nursing & maternity shirts can be kept cheaper.

Lets face it if you buy an evening wear maternity top / dress when are you going to wear it? If you are planning to have a big family then maybe invest in 1 but me personally i find them abit of a rip just for maybe 1 wear. Ok so you wanna look good at the christmas party but if you spend £40 – 50 on a top or dress how likely are you going to wear it again ? When you’ve had your baby you won’t really want to go back to wearing your maternity clothes, so in reality you will only wear it a few times which is a shame.
Now there is a solution, buy a maternity belly band . They are very reasonably priced and can cover your bump so you could wear a “normal” evening top and have no bump on show.

Now these bands are just for covering your bump, they don’t provide any back support (although they do make you feel more secure i think) so if you are buying one and expecting them to help your bad back then don’t because they won’t !! But they will extend the life of your pre pregnancy wardrobe. So don’t pay a fortune for clothes that you will only wear like once!
That is the beauty about our maternity & breastfeeding tees, you can get alot of wear out of them and they don’t cost the earth in the first place. I wear our nursing t-shirt and i haven’t breastfeed for over 3 years!! It looks completely “normal” and the designs are well funky and don’t refer to maternity or breastfeeding in any way so you won’t look an idiot wearing them years later!!

Yo dudes, just a quick heads up on the Island tee situation as a few guys have sent messages about sizes and stock. Both the grey and the white Island maternity T-shirts are back in all sizes and the white Island breastfeeding tee is back again available in all sizes.
Also The white nursing tee will be phased out in early 2009, so catch it while it is available, really cool design and will become quite rare as we aren’t gonna make it in white for some time again!Have a good weekend everyone.

So really you are going to have to be organised if you want to buy a breastfeeding top or maternity top for a christmas present. Mama Loves Linty Fresh

Upon our travels to starting up Mama feelsgood.com we have come across lots of T-shirt companies, and we gotta say one of the best, fresh, young T-shirt business is www.lintyfresh.com .I’m addicted to buying tees from them already, and badges (or as the US call them buttons) and even though they are delivered from the USA they arrive really qickly and work out cheaper than buying in the UK. Matt (my husband) doesn’t know yet but i’m looking at the Keith Tee for a christmas present he can buy me ; hee hee.
Keith Tee
Eric the guy who owns Linty Fresh has been such a help to us here at Mama Feelsgood, even though he doesn’t know it! He is super kind and helpfull on alot of aspects to do with the T-shirt business and it’s rare to find another business person who will actually help and actively encourage rather than dissmay. SO thanks Eric, we think you rock….Mama Feelsgood- Home to funky maternity & Breastfeeding fashion

Hey we just heard the news that Sophie Ellis-Bextor is due to have a baby around April 2009, Congratulations……..The singer has announced she and her husband, The Feeling bassist Richard Jones, will welcome their second child into the world in April, how exciting.
She would look fantastic in our 8 Ball retro white maternity T-shirt , or for after when she wants to breastfeed our Mama’s Melons nursing t-shirt is a laugh.
Totally off the point but the Rimel mascara that Sophie models for is fantastic, i just bought some from Boots and it works a treat. Great purple tube too…
