If you didn’t know Play Pennies is a UK blog for money-conscious parents; and they kindly reviewed one of our breastfeeding T-shirts .

We are super chuffed with the great review, always nice to know someone likes your products and they totally got our ethos here at Mama FeelsGood that we are bringing something new to the breast feeding clothing market.  They totally digged our Music Sounds Better nursing top & our Island black nursing tee rocked too

We’ve honestly worked so hard to bring these nursing shirts to you guys that it is nice to get some positive reinforcement. I recently had a really great email from one of our customers who said to “keep doing what we’re doing, as we rock” and that meant so much to us.

One thing we will say which the review picked up on as mentioned in our descriptions for our breast feeding T-shirts that they are quite fitted, so if the fitted look doesn’t suit your shape and the baggy fit is more your thing then go 1 size up. We are currently working on different styles of nursing tops which are a totally different style from our breast feeding t-shirts and will maybe appeal to ladies who like their nursing clothing a bit more on the loose side. Fingers crossed the first samples should be with us any day so they won’t be that far off from going into production. We’ll let you know how things are going with these.

OK so it;s not even Spring yet (only a few weeks away until it is officially spring) but there is a change in the weather here in the UK. The evenings are getting lighter for longer and the mornings lighter too, i love this time of year, and before you know it summer will be here yeah!!!

So as a kinda yeah to Springs arrival we have put some of our short sleeve graphic print nursing tops on sale. 

This is our horses short sleeve nursing top in light grey and it is on special for only £15.99, seriously a good price for a quality shirt which would be fab for the spring / summer and just pop a cardigan over the top if you wanna wear it all year around. 

Funky hard wearing nursing clothes are hard to come by so please check our clothes out which have been designed for breastfeeding mums. We are currently planning out designs for future breastfeeding clothing collections here at Mama Feelsgood so as our previous blog entry mentions if you have any strong ideas of what you would like to see just let us know. We have had lots of really good suggestions via email so thanks to all the ladies who have taken the time to reply, it has been a real help. We promise to produce some kicking new  nursing tops / nursing clothing in the near future.

Ok so we received and email asking how our nursing tops work ie the functionality of them; we have written in the wording next to each shirt how they work and what we have figured out is a lot of people don;t read it ! ha ha, so this makes us think we have to get the point across without so much reading! 

There is also a thumbnail of a photograph on each of the nursing top pages to show that breastfeeding top works, so just click on it and it shows the side opening in the under layer of the shirts.I think in future i will get a page done of it’s own to show and tell ladies how it works because i know when you are new to these tops it’s like how’s that gonna work etc ha ha!

So our nursing tops work on the basis that each shirt has a regular looking top layer, so they look like “normal” t-shirts and sewn into them is an under layer. SO they are 1 shirt, you cannot take the under layer away it’s sewn into the shirt so it doesn’t move about and bunch up etc.

So when it comes to feeding your baby you pull the top layer of the nursing shirt up so it exposes the under layer (your tummy is still covered by the under layer) and they choose which side you want to feed from. Then simply there are vertical opening on each side of the under layer of the breastfeeding shirt and you undo or pull down your bra, pull the underlayer across slightly and hey presto you can feed. After a bit of getting use to the top some ladies have perfected the art of doing it with one hand !

You can then use the top layer of the nursing shirt to provide some privacy and the bottom layer is great for mopping up little spills of milk. One ladies commented that her baby was quite a messy drinker and loved to ping off the breast then latch back on but in the process squirted a lot of milk every where and she then had to walk around with wet patches on her shirt, since using our tops the under layer soaked a lot of the excess milk up and she could pull the top layer down to cover the patches on the under layer! So hey they are many benefits to our nursing tops!!

The wait is nearly killing me, it’s SO exciting to see months of hard work come to fruition, some new graphic print nursing tees are going to be hitting the website in around 3 weeks.

There will be more in stock of our current lines (phew because we are getting super low on a lot of sizes, sorry guys) and there is 7 new designs to choose from, ranging from laid back to super funky! If i could show you pictures of the breastfeeding shirts now i would but i can’t ha ha!

We are also always on the look out for new models, so if you are currently nursing your baby and think you might want to have a try at modeling just let us know, seriously. We have no upper age range (all our models are over the age of 22, Sheri is 30 and Jess is 23) no size limit, (Sheri is a size 8 and Jess is a size 12, these are our current models) our shirts go up to a size 18.

Hey guys, thanks for the lovely messages about our shirts, both breastfeeding and maternity tops .

And to answer some recent questions yes  we will be adding to our range of breastfeeding graphic tee’s, fingers crossed if we are on schedule they should be available for purchase by mid September

We’re also thinking of broadening our whole range in the next 6 months or so, so exciting things happening here for us ! If there is anything in particular you would like to see just shoot us an email and we will see what we can do.

Save you from wearing clothes that you wouldn’t have worn before you were pregnant, so why start wearing them now just because you need maternity clothes ?

The maternity clothing market is really beginning to get going now, but it’s still quite generic clothing lines that are being produced. Here at Mama Feelsgood  are sticking our neck out and produce really funky, fresh, original maternity tops  and breastfeeding tops .

Really alot of people won’t even be able to tell our breastfeeding tops are feeding tops they are that funky !! We’ve had really positive comments back about our nursing tops , the fact that they are so original and offer something new.

Also our maternity t-shirts are a really good investment in your pregnancy wardrobe, because they are a longer length they can be worn with leggings / skinny jeans as they tend to cover your butt more.  In the later stages of your pregnancy when your bump really kicks in and begins to go for it the maternity shirt still fits you really well, with no over hang at all on show!!
