Hope my info helps...
3 kids: boy1(7yrsold), boy2(6yrs old), girl 3(4mo.old)
(boy 2 is autistic/nonverbal)
I was 24yrs old at his birth.
I had pre-elampsia starting in the 26th week.
Went into the hospital 3 times for contractions, and high blood pressure, and high levels of ? found in my urine. At 28 week, they gave me a steroid injection into my hips to help the baby's lungs develope faster incase they had to deliver early. Also gave me magnesium sulfate? in my iv so i wouldn't go into a seizure (I think at each doc. visit). At 33 1/2 weeks, I ate spicy food, bp went up, and I had a seizure, and the baby was delivered prematurely. He now has allergies gallore, mild sleep apnea, extremely picky eater (tons of food allergies).... etc.

my husband was 22, I was 24 (don't think we were too old)
I didn't bleed during the pregnancy.
The pre-eclampisa I believe did deprive my son of oxygen
I didn't have Gestational diabetes.
And with the increasing #'s of autism, unless the cell phones, computers, or microwaves are causing high numbers in sperm/egg mutation... I'm not so sure this may be the why my son has autism.
I did however had complications in pregnancy... just a different kind.

again... hope this helps :)
