Hey ladies, i finally got around to doing a short video on how our breastfeeding tops work, it’s only taken me like a year ! Sorry about that.
I personally always find music on videos a bit in your face so i haven’t added any, and as the clip is so short i haven’t added a voice over either, so i’ve saved you from my west country drawl!
The video is pretty self explanatory so don;t think you really need a voice over anyway!

Ok so it has been agreed on moday the 24th of october we are going live with our new website and new range of breastfeeding tops.
I have so much to learn before we go live ie how the admin works on our new site so i think its going to be a steep learning curve!
I’m up for the challenge though and think there will be lots of late nights involved. Our product shot photos have come out really well and i have lots of things planned for them, so make sure you check out our website www.mamafeelsgood.com .
Just a little heads up we are putting on sale lots of our old style shirts and these will either be removed when the new website is up or the price will be raised, so grab some now while you have the chance

OK it seems forever that i have been saying our new nursing tops will be in store but i really mean it this time!
Our shirts are docking in port as we speak (i have been tracking them on-line thats how keen i am!) and after customs have worked their thing they should be with us in about a weeks time.
Plus to accompany out new range we also will have a new website, well a newish website. We are going to be making some big changes so it makes things easier for you to buy and have a good look at our nursing tops on-line. In the back end of the site there will be a new system so it will make things so much easier to control and now there will be a proper inventory so i wil no longer sell out of things woo hoo.
SO our new range will include new graphic tees and also a new style of nursing tops with colours we don’t currently stock .
We’ve just got to do our photoshoot and they will be on sale- available on-line from mid september

Behind the scenes here at Mama FeelsGood we are going through a lot of changes , we are having a big change to our website so it will make things easier for you guys and for us too to process your orders and to offer you a more varied service and provide more information to make it easier to pick which breastfeeding T-shirt you love the most, or of course which breastfeeding dress ( we have these too now of course!) . It’s really great that you guys like our nursing clothes and it’s kinda cool that we can change our website to keep up with all the funky new things that websites can do.
We are also getting in a new range of breastfeeding T-shirts, this has taken so long to organise i reckon i could have had another baby within the time it;s taken to organise; i admit i am not the most together person and sometime i am a little too laid back, something that i am trying to change ….well in the business world anyway. Next time i will be I SAID NOW dude… nah i don’t think that is really me! Well not on a good day ha ha!
SO we have a few new graphics hooked up to be printed which is really great, i am in the throws of deciding which colour print on which shirt so if you have any burning colour coordinations let me know! There is lots to do here at Mama Towers before the new nursing shirts are launched, so i better get on!
Oh yes sorry i forgot to mention our Hugs breastfeeding Top is being re printed so full size spec will be available again soon x
We are busy working away on our new breastfeeding top collection, it’s amazing all the extra bits of work you have to do to get it together and with most things in life things tend to take lots longer then you would ever think. I can reveal we are having a update to our website too which is exciting but again puts LOTS more on my to do list.
I’ve seen the first rough draft of our new websites homepage and it’s lush, not too different from what we have now but better if that makes sense. I won’t give too much away as it won;t be ready for a fair few weeks yet; we will be launching it in conjunction with our new breastfeeding T-shirt range .
So what with a new website, new range of nursing clothes, there hasn’t be a lot of time for much else….oh yeah we moved warehouse ! Matt worked SO hard moving and even i who “doesn’t do lifting ” pitched in and shifted literally tons of boxes. I hurt my back in a car accident a long time ago now and shouldn’t really lift ( plus i admit i am lazy sometimes) but we had a time limit on moving the stock so had to get a move on. It’s a bit like when we get a delivery from our freight chaps from overseas you have a certain amount of time to empty the containers or they start charging you ! In the words of Scooby Doo or ws it Shaggy JEPPERS!
So needless to say i moved by big butt and pitched in too. I did feel good at the end of it but the next day …man i felt bad.
So i’ll give a few more details of what to look forward too in our new breastfeeding top range, we will be having more maternity T-shirts too, so watch this space
Excellenti yesterday i had my new sample through for final signing off for our new nursing tops, and they were fab. Very kindly i out a call out on our Mama FeelsGood facebook page for a couple of ladies to test them ( we got loads of replies so thanks ladies for offering i really appreciate it, if you weren’t lucky this time we promise next time we’ll email you) , the sizing on the new breastfeeding tops are different from the current one we carry. Sizing is alway a difficult job especially for breastfeeding clothing because your boobies can fluctuate in size through out a day let alone the months or years you could be breastfeeding for so a size small for one person might not be there best for another. We have listened to feedback though as we always do and have made the cut of our new nursing shirts a little more generous.
We now will carry a size 18 / 20 shirt so this goes up 1 size as we stopped at a 18 before, and the new xxl is more generous so i think would fit an 18/20 person – again if you buy one of these when they come in store and would like to send feedback that would be cool .
We do have some wicked new things planned , it will all be happenign around August September time so keep you eyes peeled!
Yesterday we put our Mama’s Melons nursing T-Shirt on sale so we thought we’d better tell you guys about it!
It’s available on sale in Pink we do carry this print on a black nursing top too (but this isn’t on sale, just the pink shirt) and it’s one of our most popular breastfeeding tops so grab one up now while you can! We don’t have a huge range of sizes available, and shirts are limited to each size; we won’t be getting this re-printed on pink shirts again so this is your last chance to get one. In fact a lot of our pink shirts are on sale as we won’t be running with pink again for a while. I guess it’s more of a summer colour and so far here in the UK our summer has been crappy ! So we are getting others colours manufactured which should be cool, and provide more variation to what we carry at the moment.

There are some seriously good applications out there for making photos more funky and i have caught a bit of a bug where i’m changing up lots of photos into ones which look vintage. It’s really nice to be able to change pictures around, i’ve taken loads of pictures of my girls and they look like they have been taken back in the 1970′s (actually i looked at one and thought it looked like me, i am a 70′s baby!).
I was thinking of having some as product shots on the website but they don’t really reflect the true colours of the nursing tops so i’m just gonna keep them here to my blog for now…

Our Money Penny breastfeeding tops are super easy to nurse in, just lift the specially designed panel at the empire line, lift up and feed. Great thing is you can’t really see the nursing panel whilst wearing the dress so when you stop breastfeeding in the future you can continue to wear the dress. It’s an addition to your overall wardrobe not just your maternity one!

Running a company which makes breastfeeding clothes is really cool but i gotta admit i get really weird questions from people when they find out what i do.
1 such type of incidence was with a mail courier, whom delivering a parcel was gutted to realize Mama FeelsGood was not a porno company but in fact a T-shirt company; although when i said it’s breastfeeding shirts he then thought it was a porno thing again! So i educated him on the different types of maternity wear that are available today! I think he learnt a lot that day ha ha.
Basically i started Mama FeelsGood because i wanted to be able to go out in public and breastfeed without my rolls hanging out all over the place ( yeah and boobies but i think it was the tummy aspect which bothered me the most) and i found i was restricted on the types of clothing i could wear which would make my life a lot easier to do this. I also wanted to retain my personality and i was always into different kinds of clothes and funky T-shirts so i combined the both and made funky breastfeeding T_shirts of my own.
I started Mama FeelsGood out of passion to go against what was available and give mothers something more (blimey that sounds very profound and up myself but i don’t mean it like that), just to be able to put a shirt on and actually like it! I wear our OWl nursing shirt a lot as it’s one of my favs and i hung it out on the line saturday and it honestly made me smile, and thats what i want you to feel.
Our breastfeeding clothing is made with the fact that when you start your journey of breastfeeding your baby you never know for sure how long it’s going to last, so we totally get you don’t want to invest in tons of nursing clothes when you might only be in them for a couple of weeks/ months, but then again whilst you are breastfeeding you want to feel comfortable going out and carrying out your everyday life; thats why our nursing tos are so cool you can wear then after you stop breastfeeding so you extend your wardrobe totally
