The cupcake is apparently making a big comeback and is now “in fashion” well in my household i can tell ya it never went out of fashion! Yum yum, it’s hard to beat a`quality cupcake and a nice brew!

So in the spirt of all things cupcake i have found some gems not only for you mama’s but you children as well.

First up is this absolute gem of a baby girls dress from a lovely website All About The Boys

These little beauties are 100% cotton and totally hand made to a really high standard. Hey i’d wanna eat my baby Erin up if she was wearing this! So many cakes to choose from ha ha. But seriously this Cupcake dress is a good investment great for this current summer but can also be worn in the winter months & beyond because it has no arms it can turn from a dress into a top. Lots of Amelia’s dresses she now wears as a top, just pop some legging on underneath and way hey you’ve got yourself a new outfit. OK i know it’s not rocket science but it’s cool to make a such lovely dress last longer.

Going off the cupcake theme but i couldn’t help myself All About The Boys also carries Ralph Lauren babies clothes , i thought they were a lot more expensive than this (that’s one benefit from buying from a quality independent store, you get much better deals sometimes) , this little pink number with matching pants is mega cute

Cupcakes...hmmmm

If you are feeling rather lazy or aren’t blessed with the skills of nigella then try this cupcake site out, yes thats right a website that sells cupcakes and they DELiver…. OMG. Though Krispy Kreme doughnut delivery was cool but cupcake one too, i’ll never leave the house, well if i carried on eating all these cakes my butt wouldn’t make it out the door!!!!

They are from a website called Classic Cupcakes they look super lush so might have to order sometime and let you know how they taste..

OK so i have a fascination with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, i think it’s probably because i have never had one and they look so nice! Plus i have totally bought into all the retro marketing, i am a sucker for anything 1950′s and their website is SO 1950′s it makes me wonder what their stores are like.

So on the 20th July Krispy Kreme are opening a new store in Bristol – Hotlight Store

And they will be opening at 7am on their first day! Apparently they have a drive through any everyhting !!! ha ah OMG drive through doughnuts i can feel my butt getting bigger as we speak, this is the maximum of laziness although i suppose not because on their website Krispy say they delivery woo hoo, can you imagine waking up to fresh doughnuts delivered????

So as i have never had one before i was looking through the menu and thinking which one would be the best to have

i love cinnamon so maybe the cinnamon apple filled looks lush, but the chocolate one is lush too, hey no worries they do them by the dozen ha ha.

I can feel my slimming world consultant sigh at me already, but maybe just one to try????

Whats your favourite type?

Yeap this time has arrived already for my baby Erin to say bye bye to her moses basket and hola to her cot, she was in her moses basket on the stand right next to the bed but to my horror night before last she tried to do her best impression of a leaping salmon and nearly launched herself out of the basket ; so time for a change. She’s only 14 weeks old but mega long ( we are talking over the 90th centile) so she’s out grown her basket anyway so night before last we put her in her cot. 

We were so naive, thought just putting her in her cot in her growbag things would be cool, she have more space to stretch , happy days! She went down fine, but around 2am she must have woken up properly (she normally has a feed around this time anyway) and thought what the heck is going on, where my basket and what is all this space , arrhhhh. Yeah night from hell then happened, she wouldn’t go back down anywhere apart from with me cuddling her, so in the early hours after ages of being up with her the smell of  desperation is in the air, you know the feeling,  basically if someone said that tap dancing naked would get her to sleep you’d be looking for your shoes; i let her sleep with me cuddling her and hence i didn’t sleep.

Anyways what i was getting to is we made a bit of a boob by just plonking her in her cot and thinking things would be cool, so last night after some very good advice from a mum at Amelias school we put Erin in her moses basket but in the cot and yeah she slept. Thank you thank you Looks like it’s gonna take a little bit longer for the progression into the cot alone but we are half way there; and no possibility of her leaping out of her cot.

SO you probably know this but if you are as naive as me  putting the moses basket in the cot is a great transitional stage , try it see if your little one likes it too. Although the rate Erin is growing she will be hanging her little feet over the end before long!

Any other tips about babies sleeping is always appreciated

Be warned though i do tend to tweet lots of rubbish ha ha and lots of the time it has nothing to do with nursing tops, breastfeeding or our nursing clothes at all! Sometimes it;s just nice to hang out and chill, we are quite laid back.

So would be totally lush to hear from you guys, you can let us know in a relaxed form what kinda nursing wear you are after or just come and let us know how your day has been. Especially when you have babies / little ones it;s good to get things off your chest and have like minded people to chat with. My baby Erin is 13 weeks old now and changing everyday so i always have something to blab about !!!

What a day yesterday, bloomin Virgin Media you have driven me crazy!

Not quite sure what they have done to the whole of SOuth Gloucestershires internet connections, probably cut through a huge cable or something but literally everyone with Virgin Media internet in South Glos were cut off. My friend Alison text me to say have you still got your internet ….i’m like yeah , came down into the office and then the air turned blue when i realised no we hadn’t arrhhhhh. Ok no problem they will fix this ASAP, they can’t let all these business’s go without internet for a long time, well i was so wrong because thats just what they did. ……

SO i have to give you guys a big apology as i was unable to get on-line to send out all the orders , it is the most frustrating thing in the world to be sat here waiting for another person/ company to do something so i can get on with my day. All orders are being send today i promise.

My gggawwd what a hassle it is just trying to send something in the post; it’s official i have become obsessed with tracking my parcel on-line that i have sent to our manufacturers. It’s basically our sample designs for future Mama Feelsgood nursing clothing , so sketches ,swatches, technical measurements etc things that would be nice to get there in 1 piece. So far a “delivery withn 3 working days” has turned out to be a 7 working day drama and things still aren’t looking good.

First it started with a train problem…. so parcel delayed leaving Bristol, now parcel is in Limbo on a plane which i quote “has mechanical problem” arrrhhhhh why my parcel ha ha. All i can say is i hope its only mail and no passengers on that plane because it’s been stuck in Warsaw airport for like 2 days now.

UPS have always been great, John My local delivery guy knows my kids names now and he has always been lush, plus i love their big brown vans kinda retro cute ( my aim one day is to ride one but might have to get job with UPS for that because don’t think John would let me loose on his!) but things have gone tits up with this delivery. It’s always a really exciting part of clothes design to see your ideas turned into reality, getting samples back & fine tuning them etc , great before the painful bit of paying for all stock comes (honestly things getting dearer all the time). So to start off with a delay is not surprising but a bit of a bummer. Will keep you informed of developments  

Mama Feelsgood, making nursing mums feelgood.

OK so as a family we haven’t had a holiday for about 3 years ! yeah long time so about time things changed, so where is good to go in the UK?

My sister recently went to Centre Parcs ansdwas raving about it, loads of things to do with the kids, great atmosphere and the accomadation was good too (hey some of them have their own BBQ so good times!) . Only thing was because she has pre school age kids she went out of season so it was cheaper, i however have a 5 year old and a 2 month old so different situation totally. Just for a weekend (can’t go for a whole week due to the business) in August the cheapest price is way over £600……£600 wow man that is loads of dosh. So is it worth it?

Longleat isn’t a big drive from us here in Bristol so this would make traveling with the baby a lot easier (after about an our in the car she’s ratty , can’t blame her either), it all seems to be the perfect choice but it’s the price.

I’ve had a lovely day myself and been spoilt loads, even got to stay in bed reading the papers until 9.30!!! Better make the most of it until baby no 2 comes along!

My sister Sue came around today to have a practice with her new camera she got for christmas, she did A level photography way back when and hasn’t used a camera for a while so i said she could do some T-shirt pics to get going.

We had a really cool time, lots of photos taken (i will up date some more on here during the week) it turned out my daughter is a natural in front of the camera and loved modeling, shame the same couldn’t b said for me……..

I can’t help it i just don,t like my photo being taken, the more i tried not to look posey the worse it got. So when we looked back over the photos at the end of the day it was a real laugh (honestly some are soo bad i can’t post on here, i am so pale in some it looks like i’ve never seen daylight and others well lets just say not good……….).

This was one fo the funny ones, Sue snapped it just as i was putting on a mama’s melons maternity tee and i look like i got a turtles head  (not the out the butt type ha ha). Thanks sue ha ha
