Mama Feels Good

OH no my eldest daughter who is approaching 6 spotted an advert for Disney Land Paris (Darn cable TV, they need to stop all those adverts!) so she has been going on for ages about it.

I would take her but 1 = It’s SO expensive and 2= i have baby Erin who is nearly 6 months old so not too sure if it would be a good place to take a baby.

We wouldn’t be going until next year ( i’ve got to save some serious cash, eating baked beans for the next 6 months!), just wondered if anyone else has been and if you would recommend it?

Ok so sometimes it’s easy to get distracted from work and start browsing the internet, if i’m not spending too much time on twitter ( anyone with an iphone knows time can bomb past when you should be off doing something else instead) i’m on You tube looking at music videos. So thats where i came across this little bit of Funk:

If you put Mama Feelsgood into google lots of different things come up apart from our company and this band was one of them and i’ve never really taken a look at it, but man i’m glad i did because it’s super fly!

Lovin the 70′s clothes, maybe i should do a nursing top with funky fly away collars of something ha ha.

I admit i am partial to rambling on about vague things totally not associated with Breastfeeding tops or clothing etc so please have patience with me (anyone who follows us on Twitter will know i tweet a load of rubbish & god help you if you are reading when X factor is on because i just cant hold back the tweets!, i mean what is it with Mafia girl & HUGE fake eyelashes? )

Whoa it’s tough being a working  mum for sure, i have 2 small children, well maybe not too small  Amelia is 5 and i have baby Erin who is 5 months old (actually Amelia was in our local paper yesterday http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/news/Movie-books-delight-children/article-2677733-detail/article.html ) she’s a bit of a model in the  making!; and it;s so tough working Mama Feelsgood around them, especially in the summer holidays!

I have a really important meeting this morning to discuss the expansion of Mama Feelsgood and it’s the kinda meeting that i know will make big change for us here and kinda give me a kick up the backside to do more. I have really great plans for our business but the life work balance is really hard. I always work really late into the night and weekends, and i know it;s all worth it, i absolutely adore what i do but there are so many different aspects to my job here. Designer, logistics planner, packer, marketing, accounts etc the list goes on. I was thinking it might actually be time to employ someone and move things to a different level. Hopefully when my girls grow up i can show them what i have achieved and prove anything is possible if you work hard enough and just don;t ever give up.

2011 will bring new things for us in so many ways and i look forward to enjoying it with you guys
